On October 20th, 2007, cartoonists around the world will face the 24 hour comics challenge. To help these cartoonists, comic book stores (like Elfsar Comics & Toys), educational institutions, libraries, businesses, and comics clubs will host special 24 Hour Comics Day events. They'll provide cartoonists with a space to work, access to food and drink, and camaraderie.

You can be a part of that evolvement as both Elfsar and Happy Harbor are active and proud sponsors of this annual event since it's inception. We welcome and encourage all interested parties to take a chance and 'give it a go' as this is a unique opportunity to create in a supportive environment with the influence and reference of comics all around you.

Weather you are an active artist, writer or not, it doesn't matter. The important thing is to try.

Two Great Locations & One Awesome Team

Elfsar Comics & Toys & HH is proud to announce that we will both be hosting this event again.  Below you will find this years requirements at both locations.

All work completed at the Elfsar host site will be copied and sent to the 24 HR people for review.  At Elfsar there will be a small $25.00 fee to cover miscellaneous expenses and Elfsar will be photocopying each submission as we don't send the originals.  There was a slight increase from last years $10 fee to $25 as the combined total for all the food, drink,  photocopies & shipping well exceeded the amount charged.

The doors will be open to the public and people are encouraged to come by and check out the action. Please keep checking back and let your friends know what's happening.  If you are participating, it's an amazing experience that you'll never forget!
